The Daisy Mountain Veterans Parade is an incredibly patriotic event and local tradition. Since its inception in 2005, the parade has grown with almost 2,000 people marching or riding and another 4-5,000 watching and enjoying the parade. The parade highlights the sacrifices of our veterans, draws attention to the truth that freedom is not free and shows support to our veterans who have protected those freedoms through service. It is a true community event!
Previous entries included; The El Zaribah Shiners with their clowns, big trucks, small trucks and motorcycles, the 108th Army Band, military floats, Wells Fargo Stagecoach, horses, scouts, local schools and local businesses.
Our sincere thanks for those of you who have generously participated with us in the past and helped make this celebration of our Veterans and Community what it is today. We extend a warm welcome to our new Participants joining us this year.
